RE: DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY - ULUS10437 [Encrypted] - Raziel - 01-26-2012

Anyone has any idea why I only get around 15FPS in battles? It works even slower without vertex cache (10FPS), not to mention I can't see any 2D elements without that (menus and buttons are invisible). Everything looks fine, but it's just kinda slow at 15FPS. Settings are Only GE, vertex cache and save GE to textures, as well as use media engine, use compiler with 3000 max method size. Video AA is off, and resolution is native.
I have a i7 920 @4.2GHz, a HD4870x2 GPU, and 6GB RAM. Jpcsp is on r2450. Tried both the 32 and 64bit versions, it's slower on 32, at around 10FPS.

Hey guys, i have

Intel® Core™ i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz

8.0 GB RAM

AMD Radeon HD 6970

Ihave between 10-20 FPS in Dissidia. What to do?

@Raziel
Check only "Enable Saving GE screen to textures instead of Memory." Then try to set Compiler to 50 or 100 then try again.

r2459 testplay, sorry for 360p version since I having problems in my current ISP... I also used Lunar Subterraine map since this is the map I can achieve 25-30 FPS aside from Planet's core.

@SquallJr voices seem to be encoded on a different format think is at3+ which sonic stage cannot decode you need to use an alternative method using sound forge + a chinese plugin that someone posted on theses forums to make it work not sure how to make it work though

does anyone have any idea why on the most recent versions on the 64 bits builds the square buttom stop working on battles after having a few? this is very annoying someone said that it was because we were using the default jpcsp font but i changed it with the original psp font and i still get this error any clue to this? is only on 64 bits builds? someone tell me their thoughs about it

Who said and can anyone confirm? I'd love to get rid of the square bug, the game works flawlessly for me in the latest revisions save for this silly bug (actually talking about Duodecim here but it doesn't seem to matter).

Just beat the first Feral Chaos in Duodecim Confessions of the Creator. Had to kill him with a chase HP attack like a boss since square stopped working after my first fight where I nearly killed him. :p

Also it's kind of strange that square would stop working EXACTLY in battle AND when HP attacking. All other square functions (such as in menus, EX mode, or chase scene attacks) still work fine. Just the HP attacks suddenly stop registering button presses.

Alternatively, is there any kind of workaround for it like resetting the emulator mid-game and then resuming (if it's even possible)?

sceNetAdhocPtpOpen and sceNetAdhocPtpConnect have been improved. Does this error still occur?

r2528 seems a little better now the client can get to the character selection screen but then starts getting cannot bind address already in use errors and gets disconnected.
