I have a problem whit map,too,while I use jpcsp.IO error:map failed-I wonder if it help you,anyway.
Could you tell me what simulador does run D:FF.I dont mind if is halfplayable.Thanks

If you get Jpcsp IO error - that's because you have Selected option use Classic for umd open dialog , change this option to UMD Browser
Also this game is recommended to use the latest revisions to the emulator that you can download from http://buildbot.orphis.net/jpcsp/

You're also using version 0.3 of the emulator which is WAY too old.
