Does my laptop have necessary power to run it(jcpsp)? - Shezar - 12-20-2011

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
System Model: HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
Memory: 6144MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 6092MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Card name: Mobile Intel® HD Graphics
Native Mode: 1366 x 768(p) (59.989Hz)

------------------------------------------
I tried 64bit version the window opens but closes right away.
The 32bit opens and stay but when i try to run something it says something among the lines: dispay format not supported.

Is my notebook to weak to support the jpcsp?
Thanks in advance.

your graphic card's not good enough. you need an nvidia geforce, at least model 9500 to run it with any acceptable speeds. ati radeons will give you a lot of trouble, but will work too. but the intel graphic cards aren't good at all for emulation or gaming.

PSP is oddly enough much more dependent on graphics than PS2.

ps2 emulation isn't working on java though, and doesn't use opengl. it's also much more advanced than the psp one, so obviously it's better optimized for speed.
