New to JPCSP - Awful graphics - Deathykins - 04-09-2011

I have seen screenshots and videos of people playing games on JPCSP, including The 3rd Birthday, and their graphics looked great. Mine however, looks like a PS1 game.

My video settings:

Only GE Graphics
Use Vertex Cache
480x272 resolution

I thought upping the resolution would work, but it then cut out most of my screen, so I couldn't even see what I was doing or where I was going.

I also tried upping my graphics cards settings, and that didn't make a difference either.

Oh, and if it matters, my graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 5450.

Screenshot of how my game looks:

I know I am new to the site, and that this is my first post. I understand how many people get annoyed by people coming to sites and using their first posts to ask for help. But I just recently found this site, and would greatly appreciate your help.

Once I learn how things work better, if I am even capable of running this correctly, I will become an active member of this community. I always work to help people on every forum that I am a part of.

Try using shaders .

Just tried enabling shaders. Also tried using it with multiple combinations of the other functions that go along with it. This was the result:

Thank you for the idea, though.

Don't resize the window screen, just change the resolution of your monitor instead.

Thank you very much. Worked like a charm! Big Grin
