works fine with none of the settings applied but theres no text and when I use the settings on the first page the frame rate takes a huge dive and everything is slow

Using ver r2211 with only one video option enabled (Enable saving GE screen) the game runs pretty good
with my pc Intel Core 2 Duo ATI HD 5770. Problems found were missing dialog text and there is a
vertical white bar on the left side. And in game battle slow down from 50-60fps to half of it.

yeah i have the whole missing text thing going on here as well. none of the settings i used that had the game running without any problems seem to work anymore as of r2211. and i haven't seen any updates or newer builds up on buildbot so i'm guessing they are for now considering r2211 the latest working release of jpcsp but that is just a guess

does anyone have a working configuration setting for an ati video card? this game has pretty much gone into the unplayable section since i haven't seen many post in this thread about if its all of a sudden started working ect in newer builds ect. at the present point in time i'm stuck using r2190 for playing ffiv the complete collection and r2223 for playing everything else

I don't know for Ati video cards, but the game is fully playable with sound in the last revisions 2227-2232 Smile.

I have a 5850, and I can get the game running with sound using video settings: 2, 4, 6, 11 - although there are a few pixel twitches.

The major issue is a slowdown to 5 fps during battles, especially when magic is used. For that, I have no idea what to do.

This game runs at 60fps or 30fps? I'm running at 30fps while not in battle and seens normal speed...

30 fps for normal gaming Smile
