It's supposedly coming out in the fall in japan but there is no english release date. Since the game isn't released yet there's no possible way we would know if it runs on JPCSP.

Probably. It's using The 3rd Birthday's engine, so there is a chance. Then again, Dissidia012 uses Dissidia's engine, and where Dissidia runs very fine, Dissidia012 runs like sh*t on JPCSP at the moment, though they nearly the same. Another example: Bleach Soul Carnival is perfect on the emulator... Bleach Soul Carnival 2 doesn't even load. Why you ask? I really don't know Sad

What are you talking about? Dissidia 012 runs way faster for me then dissidia. I will admit that dissidia did run very fast for me but that change for some reason.

For you. For me it's too laggy. On Planet's Core I get around 10-12 FPS, on same settings in Dissidia I get 20+. Same for Lunar Subterranean where I get full speed, in Dissidia012 my FPS like 8-10. WTF, indeed!

RE: Final Fantasy Type 0 in JPCSP? - Karen - 07-18-2011

for me Duodecim works the same speed as the normal Dissidia...., it seem faster because there's a lot of new stages, and the majority of then works at good speed and 4 of them run the game at full speed, so yeah Duodecim runs better

but if i can guess, no Type-0 will not work on JPCSP in the release(like all Square Enix new games i think), but after a time it will, if you wanna play it that badly try first the PSP ^^, and yeah, yeah i know nowadays its better to play on the emulator we can put filters an full screen and some games became very good in it...,but some still became laggy when in full screen

You got me there. I don't know how to set Duodecim to achieve the same speed as the prequel. I play it like 2 minutes and had a serious FPS impact. Oh, yeah, if I use rematch... if I choose to go back to battle setup menu and reentering the same stage, it's the same if not worse, it gives me a huge speed decrease. Using ATI Catalyst 11.5 because the latest, 11.6 just kill my FPS in JPCSP. I would like to play Duodecim, but the speed is horribly horrible Sad
