RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.4.0.4] - Vegerunks - 02-07-2011 Hey guys I found what could be the problem with using the launcher... I Had an Athlon 64 X2 processor and I upgraded to a Phenom II 955 black Edition X4 and now I can run the launcher. Before no matter what i tried it would crash and give the Vista error when Vista is incapable of launching a program so it crashes. So maybe you need a Triple Core or better to use the launcher? Hmm, I have a Athlon 64 X2 processor and it works for me, so I doubt this is the problem but good for you it works now! RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.4.0.4] - Vegerunks - 02-07-2011 haha it could be a combination of things because my video card is onboard Geforce 6150SE either way I'm happy RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.4.0.4] - Vegerunks - 02-09-2011 Hey, I was looking at the java commands and found that the command -XX:+UseAdaptiveSizePolicy helps boost FPS by 10-20% on my comp maybe it helps others? Without it I play Bleach Heat the Soul 7 at 40-50 FPS and with it i play it at 45-65 RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.4.0.4] - hyakki - 02-09-2011 thanks, ill add it to the next version as a checkbox option RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.4.0.4] - Vegerunks - 02-09-2011 cool , think its possible that we'd be able to find a command that would make audio work better? RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.4.0.4] - hyakki - 02-09-2011 I doubt it, whats wrong with audio besides the unimplemented stuff? , also researching the option -XX:+UseAdaptiveSizePolicy it looks like it might already be enabled by default in java, I'm still looking into it though. messing around with more options i found another option -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=1 can really help reduce pauses in some games. RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.4.0.4] - Vegerunks - 02-09-2011 it could be the unimplemented stuff i'm thinking of, when the music cuts out early, its not even that it doesn't loop it just cuts out randomly until a new song starts RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.4.0.4] - hyakki - 02-09-2011 v1.4.0.5 [2-9-2011] -Removed obsolete option -XX:ThreadStackSize (-xss does the same thing) -Added ReservedCodeCacheSize, some games can use up the default cache size use this option to increase it. -Added MaxGCPauseMillis setting this can reduce the "pause" feeling in some games for more smooth gameplay. (lower is better for this setting but to low might cause other problems.) -Fixed a checkbox bug when clicking default. RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.4.0.5] - dista_bagus - 02-10-2011 hyakki, from your screenshot you thick option UseConcMarkSweepGC & UseParNewGC.does have any effect on Jpcsp? hyakki, could you tell what recommended option that must thick in Jpcsp Launcher 1.4.0.5? i mean i want to know your config. |
