RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.5.0.5] - serio - 05-11-2011

both have their pluses and minuses. 7 has way less compatibility with older programs, but is more stable. it's even worse if it's 64 bit.

but anyway, it's not about microsoft paying or anything, but just the fact that you use an illegal copy of the system. we don't want no piracy here, you can advertise how much of a bad rebel you are somewhere else.

My anti-virus wiped the launcher when I tried to run it. Is there way I can just extract the files manually so Media Engine will work?

Wait, if the media engine doesn't work then that probably means that your not using 32bit jpcsp and or you didn't install sonic stage CP 4.3 and or both. There is however an option to extract media files to tmp in the media tab of the configurations but you'd have to decrypt them manually with your psp and they wont work on anything other then 32bit jpcsp.

v1.5.0.6 [5-24-2011]
-Minor Change - update default options to match the latest bat file changes ("-XX:MaxPermSize=64m -XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=64m").

RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.5.0.6] - Dumbass755 - 05-28-2011

You will ignore my problem.

RE: JPCSP Launcher [v1.5.0.6] - red077 - 05-28-2011

[font=Tahoma]I'm new to Jpcsp and tried tinkering it to optimize gaming. I bumped into this and thought it was interesting. I followed the directions you put on the first page and put the launcher into the directory but when I try to run the program... the loading icon appears beside the cursor but it does not start. I don't know the problem yet but how can I see the log to show you guys?

I tried disabling my bitdefender AV and firewall but it didnt seem to do the trick. I also have spy-bot S&D and disabled it (just closed the program) but didn't seem to work. I can't however disable my MS essentials AV. But I put the launcher as an exception but it still didn't start.

It worked on my desktop but not on my Laptop (Thinkpad T510) and tried copying the commands but I'm not sure if it's optimized and running full speed.

It runs on these config(.bat file):
-XX:+UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmx800m (it won't start if higher) -XX:MaxPermSize=128m (won't start if higher) -XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=64m -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=1 -XXTonguearallelGCThreads=4 -XX:UseSSE=4

I tried adding the -XX:Large Page, ...parallel GC, and aggressiveheap. But won't start on that setting. I'm using latest build r2156 32-bit and latest launcher (v1.5.0.6). JRE 6 25 is installed and I also tried the JRE 7 beta but there isn't really any change.

Other than these info, I don't know how to show the log since it doesn't show that it stopped working. Can you see that in the event viewer to narrow down the problem?

I'm trying to make it work so that I can optimize it on my Thinkpad T510. Please help!
