Only Ge graphics

what does the "only Ge graphics" option do?

I've seen that it gives big speedups, but so far the only drawback i've seen is that movies aren't being played. Is there something else that i'm missing?

Well it makes the graphics less choppy for one. For Example on Crisis Core without it the pixels are less clear without it enabled
