I'm total noob at this psp emulator stuff. I just recently downloaded jcsp v.06 R 1772. I can't get anyting to work at all. No matter what i try to load it just says critical error check console for details. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. The game I would really like to play though is crisis core.

Delete this revision and download r1913 from the buildbot. Or if you really have to use this version extract the 7z file in the lib\windows-x86 directory into that directory

Download the newest build from the buildbot:

With this you should have no problems.

the game works somewhat. It is kind of slow. Could u you maybe give me some tips to make it run faster, and what are some other good psp game that run good. And while I got you here, is there a way to use the xbox 360 controller with this emulator. I have had many people tell me that the controller won't work on other types of emulators and I get it to work every time, but i can't figure this one out. Do you know of any way to do this?

Browse the FF7CC thread for more details for the best setting:

For other games that work well in JPCSP: Browse through all the entries in here:
http://www.emunewz.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=65 and read the description for how well the games work.
There is also a compatibility list:

"Good" of course depends on your PC

It should work. Why not just test it before asking?
