All games crash! (Weird java bug)
#1
Hey everybody!

For some reason on the latest (70+) SVNs of JPCSP my PC fails to load pretty like any game, mostly when it's about to load a 3D scene. I'm not sure on which revision this started but it's been for a really long time and since I had no time to play I didn't report it and I was hoping somebody else would report it.

So far I tried removing/re-installing java, doing a fresh JPCSP install, changing settings on JPCSP and the Launcher with zero luck.

My Specs:
Intel i5-3210m
Nvidia GT 620m (driver version 314.14)
Java (64bit) Version 7 build 1.7.0_15-b03
Latest JPCSP 64bit SVN

I'm having no problems with r3032 atm, my version of Java is:
Code:
java version "1.7.0_17"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_17-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.7-b01, mixed mode)
You can update from here:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/j...80260.html

Install both 32 and 64 bit versions, the JDK installer includes the latest JRE.
After updating java, try again and if it doesn't work then you should post the html/txt log in here. To know how to save a html/txt log:
http://www.emunewz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=70898
(imho HTML is better)

I've already tried updating/removing/re-installing Java (both versions) but with no luck (tried also the links you provided).
It's so weird, JPCSP just refuses to render anything 3D related.
Here are logs of 3 different games:

From the logs it seems like an audio problem related to MediaEngine, did you try disabling it or disabling the audio from the options? I'm not a dev so there's not much I can say about this, just giving a few hints.

I was getting those warnings even before newer JPCSP SVNs stopped working, tried disabling it with no effect. The LOGs show nothing intresting, I have LOGs since before JPCSP stopped working and I see nothing weird about them. I'm pretty possitive It's a Java problem, going back to previous builds doesn't fix the problem.

Dunno what did it but it got fixed, I'm pretty possitive it was an issue with Java not getting updated/installed properly.

Yep the java automatic updater is kinda useless, I noticed around a month ago when the firefox plug-in wasn't getting updated properly so once in a while is better to manually check for updates and install the latest JDK+JRE for both 32 and 64 bits from the oracle website.

From your log file:
Code:
Jpcsp v0.6 2958:2984
Use the latest Jpcsp version, there has been a fix for this problem in r3000.
The problem was raised by the new Nvidia driver 314.07
Always include a complete log file at INFO level in your reports. Thanks! How to post a log
