Title said it all, tried Java 6 x86 and x64 no luck, even tried Java 7 (both versions) and no luck, do I have to install something else ?

Hm? You seem confused when downloading and trying different java version for different operating system type? I'm not an expert but would like to tried to help you.

Lets start off with trying to verified your java version to see your pc is up-to-date with the latest recommended Java installed.

1) Go to the Java website www.java.com
2) At the homepage, there should be a big button for "Free Java Download", click that to take you to a different part of the website where the website attempt to detect your current java installed and verify if it the latest/correct version.
3) The result should give you the option to download the latest java from the website or if there any older version detected on ur pc, advise you how to remove it from your pc or display the message: "Congratulations! You have the recommended Java installed (Version ?)"

That should deal with the java issue. If your problem have any relation to your pc not up-to-date with the latest java.

If it still doesn't work, then the problem could be not your java version but the emulator your attempting to use doesn't match the operating system type the emulator is programmed to run on.

To check what your operating system type is:
1) you just need to go to the start menu
2) right click on "My Computer" and choose "Properties"
3) When the window open, search for system type with it should tell you if your operating system is a 32 bit or 64 bit.

After learning that, go to the JPCSP website and download the correct emulator that operate on the operating system type that matches with your pc operating system.
