I have a problem with character sprites dissappearing. It happens after the first boss. When you get to control the character for the first time, if you walk towards the screen, they disappear. In the next cutscene in Wutai, the characters are not there. Any help would be great. Here are my computer specs:

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Intel® Core™ i7-2600 CPU @ 3.4GHz
12 GB Ram
AMD Radeon HD 6670

Caution everybody! Do not install the 304.79 nvidia beta drivers... major shaders issues!
