No it don't work I tried your solution with all PPU and SPU modes and all render modes I see the Catherine logo glowing well at 30 FPS and then it freeze with a black screen

Try this build: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rpcs3/rp...0.0.1-4072

I've tried this build and it's working very well with all default options thank you !
In the "press start" screen I got ~15 FPS with OGL and ~20 with D3D12

Then I've tried with Recompiler PPU and D3D12 and I got ~25 FPS in the "press start" screen with no glitches : it's very playable thank you
How did you get so many fps?? I've tried the same configuration as you (Recompiler PPU+DX12) and I only get 15 fps on the "press start" part
My specs:
GTX 950 2GB AMP Edition
12 GB RAM
i7 3770 3.40GHz

With PPU Recompiler and SPU Fast and Vulkan for me it give the best results.

I have a i7 5820k at 4,2 GHz 16 GB DDR4 and a GTX 1080 so it's logical I have best results as you

I have been trying and trying to get this thing to work, and I had it "kind of working" a while back on an older version, but it was super slow. I cannot get it to work at all if I try vulkan or dx12, only opengl. It just stops responding if I try the other 2. What am I doing wrong? And so far on the newest version I can't even get the atlus screen. It tells me it's installing for a minute or two, then when that's done, it flashes the catherine logo at the bottom left then just a black screen. I used to at least be able to get to the start screen. Anyone have any pointers?

Had some degree of success with the current latest build, b70a1ed. The only settings that didn't freeze before the title screen were the combo of PPU Recompilier, SPU Fast & Vulkan. Was able to get through the opening stage, but it froze loading the second.

When it worked, it ran at about 15-20 FPS. My specs are i5 6700k, 16GB DDR4 and a GTX 950 2GB, running Windows 10.

With the newest builds I can't start a new game on the main screen, RPCS3 won't load the first cinematic it stay on the screen with Catherine.
I've tested all the latest builds and I discover that the problem appear since the realease 4108

Edit : It only work with Recompiler for PPU AND SPU

i7-5820k vs i3-6100

i3-6100 may have better Single core performance.

This.

Single core is more important than the cores for emulator and too for the game (depend what games)
And the emulator don't use so much GPU.

No completely wrong, an i3 is in general useless for rpcs3.
