Ok i need help, im not all that tech savy using emulators. I am using the launcher. But i have no idea what setting to use or anything.

My specs are:

Windows 7 64 bit.
Processor AMD Athlon II Duel core Processor 2.20 GHz
4GB of ram with 3.5 Usable.
Graphic is ATI Radeon HD 4250.

Using it default settings and system profile to custom. It comes out to have a -Xss of 65 and Xms of 128. Java on normal. Any setting you think i should change for my computers specs?

Idk how your video card is(looks weak to me but I don't know the Radeon number system) But I do know your processor is weak for JPCSP. idk setting i could suggest for the launcher seeing as its best just to experiment til you find what works, but with JPCSP itself I would suggest nothing checked in the video output settings except Only GE and Save GE to Texture.
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 970 3.7 GHz, GPU: Geforce GTX 550 Ti, Ram: 16 GB, Windows 7 64-bit

Well iv been messing around with it for a while now and my best FPS are when i have Vertex cache on and Enable saving GE, if i put the only use GE graphics my FPS drops ....weird , idk why but it does. If i dont have the Enable saving GE my games look like a 8 bit game. And yea i learned the JPCSP is more of a CPU emulator demand then a graphic demand. Cause ppl with like 4 ghz run smoother.

But im still playing threw Crisis core XD , every now and then it will run pretty smooth.

1. Extract to Jpcsp directory.
2. Run the launcher.
3. (Optional) Setup settings.
4. Hit the button that says "Run" to start Jpcsp.

Also i am new to this too but try the following:

1. you sure have JPCSP.exe in your JPCSP directory?(like \jpcsp-windows-x86/JPCSP.exe).
2. Make a shortcut to the desktop and start it.
3. Then click on the blue-ish ADV button to open the options, select your system profile(like CPU SSE3 - 4GB+ Ram, if you have that) and on the right side you see "UMD Browser" klick on [Show UMD Browser on Start]

4. go to Advanced Java and by XX:UseSSE write there 3(Why is there 99 anyway?).

5. Now go to UMD Browser click Add and select the UMD Images Directory(like this \jpcsp-windows-x86\umdimages and after that click SAVE.

6. Now you shall be ready to Play, click the Blue-ish UMD Button and finally you can see your PSP Games, double click one of them and Have Fun.

I feel stupid that I've been using this launcher the whole time without knowing you can click on the umd text... That's not really obvious imo.
