Jpcsp Slow on 2500k 560 Ti Pc???
#1
Hi guys I thought I would get into the jpcsp scene since I am almost done with skyrim and need something to play. I'm computer savy and built my pc, but confused on why the emulator runs slow. I get about 3-5 FPS.

The game I am trying to play is FF Dissidia and Crisis Core. I have tried without tweaking the settings and tweaking. I used the tweaks from this video since specs are similar

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I tried doing 64 bit full and change compatibility to 32 bit from what I read in the READ ME. Thanks for any help!!

My specs
i5 2500k
Nvidia Frozr 560 Ti
12Gb ram
Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

Download the latest version from http://buildbot.orphis.net/jpcsp/

Use 32bit version of jpcsp even if you are running windows 64bit.

Check http://www.emunewz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=1004 and http://www.emunewz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=976 for optimal settings.

Hey guys, i have

Intel® Core™ i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz

8.0 GB RAM

AMD Radeon HD 6970

I have between 10-20 FPS in Dissidia. What to do? I've followed all the settings etc etc. You think the emulator just hates AMD Cards?

it's not about hate, the radeon series have poor, buggy opengl drivers/implementation. the emulator uses opengl to display everything for easier cross-platform compatibility, so you get problems like that.

it was much worse before, the emulator has a lot of workarounds to fix many of those problems.

Is there something I can do about that? Can't be playing dissidia with 8 fps.

you can play it on a psp.

i dunno if it's even possible to get a speed like that with the specs he has, his graphic card is very old, he barely has enough ram and his cpu isn't that strong either.

i have similar but slightly better specs than his (geforce 9500 rather than 8600, 4 gb ram rather than 1), and i only get like <5 fps in the first game using his settings.

it could just be a recording using a psp and something like remotejoylite or a tv out, then called a jpcsp video to troll people into believing the game works good. the hoax in his name doesn't sound too credible either.
