Well I did write a decent sized post about stuff relevant to the topic but it got detected as spam. check http://www.emunewz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=14984 it has a (probable safe) link to SonicStage if you don't mind InstallM.

And make sure use software rendering is disable.
