This game was tested with revision 267ba68. The performance of the game while it's running on JPCSP is still slow and tends to lag often. Modifying the Maximum Method Size doesn't improve performance at all.
In terms of graphics, there are different problems for each graphics renderer.
OpenGL - Before a duel is about to begin, there is a swirling animation to display the background image. As the animation is about to finish, half of the screen turns black for a second. There is a bright animation which takes up a big part of the screen while a card is Special Summoned (3rd Screenshot). With cards that are not Normal Summoned, they may appear invisible to the user (4th Screenshot). In previous games, the card may appear black when summoned in this manner.
External Software Renderer - While all the card animations and effects are fine, any card that is shown on the screen will have horizontal lines next to the picture border of a card (2nd Screenshot). Also, text that is on the screen is not displayed correctly. For example, names that appear next to the Life Points (8000) for each player will look slightly off in terms of alignment and size compared to its PSP counterpart (1st Screenshot).
With regards to the cards not being able to display properly on OpenGL, perhaps adding this may help: Issue #398
