Actually, it seems Sony does provide just the OpenMG codec installation: http://www.sony-asia.com/support/downloa...age=detail
I've tested it and it does work for Atrac3+ playback. You can play Atrac3+ .oma files in any media player after installing the above codec. However, it doesn't seem to include the Sony wav writer needed by the command line version of HiMDRender used by Jpcsp.
The later GUI versions of HiMDRender work just fine with the above codec though, so I guess the later versions of HiMDRender don't use the Sony wav writer which probably causes some noise to play during the decoding process.
At the moment, installing SonicStage is really the easiest way to get everything working. I'm using SonicStage 4.3 English which I downloaded from: http://musicstore.connect.com/index.html
