Hello
I have noticed over the last few months that some releases will work, while others do nothing - not start at all.
Latest rpcs3 release as of 2016-07-18, will not load to the Game selection box. No log file gets generated. This has worked correctly in some of the previous releases.
Latest rpcs3 vulkan release as of 2016-07-18, will load the the Game selection box. Log file gets generated. Some previous versions have not loaded at all.
So in other words the vulkan release will load to the game selection and config box, the trunk version will not.

My Machine Specs
PC - Intel I7-4790K
GtX 970 GFX card
16 gig DDR 3 Ram
Latest GFX drivers installed
All required Libs and flash files installed in correct Folders.
