i tested before. rename .iso but when i start again rename again.
example Amagami on UMD Jpcsp launcher.
then rename on UMD Jpcsp launcher to Amagami.iso so that can dbl click/run.
exit Jpcsp launcher & rerun again, but i see on UMD Jpcsp launcher no .iso so i rename again.
strange.

ok thanks for testing,
I 'm able to reproduce the problem. i'll get it fixed tonight, it seems to be windows not telling the launcher the file extension for iso files if "hide extensions known filetypes" is enabled, but other formats like cso work

If the game runs out of memory a lot then higher is better, but I'm pretty sure it takes away from the main heap usage (xmx) so setting it to high could have other problems like slowdowns ..etc
I would set it anywhere from 128-300mb
v1.5.0.2 [4-19-2011]
-Fixed UMD browser not showing certain file extensions in the browser if "Hide extensions for known file types" was enabled in the OS.
-Added new link to Readme under About section of the context menu.
-Added Check for Update in the About section of the context menu (this just links to the launcher forum post)
-Start-up code improvement.
-Hide / Restore on context menu should now correctly show the status of the window.

Wow man this actually looks pretty good !!!
I'm always impressed by emulators developers, they are great.
I have a question.... This launcher's default options, are actually the same we have without the launcher ?
I mean, having the launcher with the default options, actually does something to the JPCSP performance ??

v1.5.0.3 [4-25-2011]
-Added experimental preset option in (I'm still not happy with the settings but it's good for now)
-New options [UseSSE,UseGCOverheadLimit,UseAdaptiveGCBoundary]
-Fixed a typo.
-Default no longer resets the custom path checkboxes
Note the preset option is still experimental you might get more or less performance depending on certain conditions (its a good starting point though for the most common settings)
depending on how things work out I might improve or scrap the idea in the next version.

First off, I just downloaded and used your launcher for the first time. I found it really interesting and useful =)
I used the "Single Core" preset and couldn't notice any performance boost, but neither a performance loss, so it's good for now as you say.
I noticed I had a crash while playing from your launcher, and the launcher killed the application some seconds after... Could that be correct, or is it the Garbage Collector that was checked from the preset ?
I also loved the links to the forum and this post. Later I will check on the options and some configurations, just to tell if I find something useful, thanks for the launcher !!! =)
