Skate 3 [BLUS30464]
#41
Hello there, i got a new computer and all skate games dumped on my hard drive, if you need logs on different configs, just let me now, i will do my own tests today. Hope i will go farther than with xenia.
Code:
·F {rsx::thread} class std::runtime_error thrown: Invalid location (offset=0x0, location=0xffffffff)
(in file C:\rpcs3\rpcs3\Emu\RSX\RSXThread.cpp:135)

only got this error so far, nothing shows up graphically speaking, how can i install the the full game ?
i simply copied the USRDIR folder to dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30464 is it mandatory or useless, does it miss something ?

This game doesn't work, that error is what you're supposed to get right now. Try simpler games.

Also note that you're not supposed to copy disc games like that. They must be run from a PS3_GAME directory, outside dev_hdd0.

Allegedly this now goes ingame. Someone retest with this build: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rpcs3/rp.../artifacts
Asus N55SF, i7-2670QM (~2,8 ghz under typical load), GeForce GT 555M (only OpenGL)

the game is stuck in a loop while loading levels, it seems that it cannot load some/all required files
i cannot attach the log here :-(

Looking at the screenshot maybe you put a disc game in the virtual hard drive folder dev_hdd0 and thus broke the installation of it. Put it anywhere else and use the boot -> game menu.

If the .zip'ed log file is still larger than 2 mb upload it to mega.nz or something.

Moving to intro.

Click for log
i installed game files when prompted in rpcs3 on first boot , should i avoid it in the future ?
so i will try without installing in a few hours to see what happens

edit: i'm forced to install files to boot the game ;-)
and it's worse with the 01/04 build (rpcs3-v0.0.2-2017-04-01-f7d839fc_win64) , the install of game files crashes the emulator and the game does not boot anymore here :-( i tried like 30 consecutive times ! will wait a few weeks to test again
