Moving to playable now. The game looks perfect with Vulkan or DX12, and runs pretty fast with LLVM. Saving and loading works too.

Do you actually have the BLUS30428 version of the game? Post the log file.

okay I give up...so I'm posting here in hope...this is what got so far.

Tried all of the lib lists and clues within..here is a rough overview of what I've done...

- Using the BLUS30428 version of the game. along with the firmware file that game with it in PS3_UPDATE folder - have not tried using a newer firmware update yet.

- Used interpreters and tried compilers, both failed completely with the same type of errors you see in the pics included. Tried combinations of compilers and interps and so on.

- Tried default 720p resolution (1280 x 720) and the smaller 720x480 for pics and just to see...nothing but a lagging ATLUS logo that finishes in 5 minutes+ or a blank screen after.

- Used the lib list on the post update (2017-02-23) and on the last pages...nothing changed the errors. Also tried Vulkan, OpenGL, and D3D (dx12). None of these changed the problems in the pics and my frame rate was between .25 and 5 when the ATLUS logo was displayed. I have an NIVIDIA GT720 card and I tried it's D3D adapter as well as the Microsoft Basic Render Driver.

- Results were the same no matter the version. I tried both rpcs3-v0.0.1-2017-02-25-d0afef47_win64 and rpcs3-v0.0.1-2017-02-26-01ef9ecc_win64 and also, I noticed that the newer build only seems to have .sprx files and no .prx ones if that matters...

- language setting to both English and Japanese, if that matters...

This makes me suspect the problem is on my end but after crawling all over the Catherine subject page and the net and watching the vids and so on I got nowhere...did notice in the videos that when the emulator is usually displaying green at the point where mine is all yellow and red...

For last builds, Catherine works for me only on OpenGL, Vulkan show loading logo and RSX error
On OpenGL visible mesh of polygons, just think what that function are developed

You are using a WIP build, get the latest master branch version from here: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rpcs3/rp.../artifacts

It still runs fine on Vulkan and DX12.

Use the latest firmware version downloaded from Sonys site.

Try to not use libvdec if videos hang/crash.
