Download this file, go to tiles>install firmware in rpcs3 and game should work after that.

Awesome! Thank you! So happy to see the title screen! Haven't test the whole thing yet but it's gotten farther then the last 2 days I've been trying...

I'm curious as to why none of the online tutorials or YouTube videos provide this critical step?

The quickstart (https://rpcs3.net/quickstart) guide on our website does, you should always prefer the official written guide because it gets updated as soon as changes are made, unlike videos that need to be remade and/or may not explain stuff properly.

If the Atlus video starts playing but hangs

1) Use the latest master branch version from here https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rpcs3/rp.../artifacts
2) In settings check the option "load liblv2.sprx" and in the modules list check libvdec.sprx.

OpenGL + PPU Interpreter must work.

In 2) do you mean to check "Load liblv2.sprx only" ? Do I have to uncheck "Load required libraries" ?

I mean what I wrote, in settings check the option "load liblv2.sprx" and in the modules list check libvdec.sprx. Nothing more, nothing less. This will automatically load all the required modules and also libvdec which may (or may not...) help with the hanging video.

Are you 100 % sure you are using a master branch version? Even if you are download from the link above again. The issue you describe makes it sound like you got a certain WIP build.

I've tried this build and it's working very well with all default options thank you !
In the "press start" screen I got ~15 FPS with OGL and ~20 with D3D12

Then I've tried with Recompiler PPU and D3D12 and I got ~25 FPS in the "press start" screen with no glitches : it's very playable thank you

Alright, the changes in that work in progress test build will be merged to the master version soon, maybe today or tomorrow or a few more days.
