i installed the emulator as the QuickGuide said
then i run the game and doesn't show anything but a black screen
and in the log section it stops in one line every single time

"S {SPU[0x2000005] Thread (CriSr thread)} SPU: Function detected [0x1e1b8-0x1e1fc] (size=0x44)"

And there's an error (i realized it because is a red line) in:

"E {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread) [0x00a84efc]} 'sys_spu_thread_group_destroy' failed with 0x8001000a : CELL_EBUSY"

and a pink line
"F {PPU[0x1000011] Thread (_cellsurMixerMain) [0x00ad30cc]} MEM: Access violation reading location 0x0"

Sorry for my bad english

This is the same problem I posted about but it wasn't able to be solved. The game should run if you turn off the SPU recompiler and use Interpreter (fast) instead but that's not very helpful since the game will most likely be too slow (15-20FPS) in game without the SPU recompiler.

Maybe ssshadow can take another look at it but the conclusion was that the issue was "super rare" and to wait for a new build. Would love for it to be solved but I've tried everything I could think of on my own.

I had the same problem, here's how i solved it.

I uninstalled razor synapse, closed steam, origin, teamviewer. And it would work again. You can try it. If it doesn't work, restart the computer and shutdown those program again, and it should work.

The game is surely playable from beginning to end, multiple levels and parts of the game were tested, including cutscenes (in engine and pre rendered), gameplay, music, saving & loading...

i can lauch the game but all i get is a black screen and the log end with :
F {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread) [0x019dd8e8]} MEM: Access violation writing location 0x762

i don't know what that mean but i can't play the game

Change your ASMJIT to fast interpreter

Currently there's a bug on rpcs3 that cause asmjit to freeze on some computers, and no there's no fix yet

I'm getting half speed on levels 3-2 and 3-3.

I'm using the latest build (2017-04-28-b9ebf595_win64) and an i7700k and GTX 980. I have it set to ASMJIT + LLVM. OpenGL gives me the best frame rate so far. Vulkan is pitifully slow. Any recommendations for better frame rate? Thanks.

Maybe DirectX 12? And on OpenGL also use GPU texture scaling.

Also try this experimental build: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/kd-11/rp.../0.0.2-597

Thanks ssshadow, the gpu texture scaling seems to help.

Try to change SPU decoder to ASMJIT? And personally I don't recommend to use SPU interpreters because they are way slower than ASMJIT
