Error while running the .bat file

Hello there,

I'm trying to run JPCSP with the .bat file but i get this error msg from java that I don't really understand:

Additional info: I got an Ati Radeon HD3850

You are running the 64-bit build. Do you have an 64-bit OS and die 64-bit version of Java?

It's maybe because you need to download the java 6 for the 64 bit since jpcsp is build with java 6.Try that

I uninstalled both Java 6 and 7, reinstalled Java 6 x64 only, i got exactly the same error message Confused

I have the same error on windows 7 32bit. I try on many version of jpcsp (like those who work with me before) and the same things happen. =(

Both 32 bit and 64 bit version of JPCSP work on 64 bit OS.
so, i advice you to use the 32 bit version, OK?!
and 4 U Bassix you should post for our your system information,Java version,JPCSP version,etc..

i faced this problem but it's disappear when i format my system drive. you know!
The life is too spleeny but we should give it some chances and hopes..

I'm on Windows 7 Professionnal SP1
Athlon II X4 640
Radeon HD 5770
3GB ram DDR2
I try with Java Jre 6u32, 7u4 and with Jdk 6u32 and 7u4.
And all the time the same problem with the last version (r2552)of jpcsp and some other that work since one or two month ago.
I don't really want to format my drive ^^
Do you think software like ccleaner can cause those type of problem?

your problem from virus or program(s)! of course!
when i format my drive i was had a lot of programs big programs!
and for this reason i don't know the problem from where..
than you Bassix for your interest.
The life is too spleeny but we should give it some chances and hopes..

I understand, me too have a lot's of big programs ^^ so thank you.
I think i can prepare to format if i would use jpcsp .
My problem was solved!! But i don't really understand ^^ i just changed my windows theme with the soft custopack. So some dll and framework was changed. Maybe it can help you sobolevspaces ^^.
