Hey there - apologies if this isn't the correct forum, but I just downloaded it, and upon running PCSP.exe, I immediately got "Sorry, OpenGL OcclusionQuery is mandatory", and the program shuts down. I did a google search on that exact phrase, and got goose egg on the results.

Is this a video card driver issue? I do have the latest DirectX installed (I just double checked).

OS is Win 7 32 bit. Graphics card is an Intel 945 mobile (I'm trying this on my laptop right now - traveling, so I can't run it on my desktop at home right now).

Thanks for doing what you guys are doing - it's much appreciated. Smile

it's simple message , your opengl is probably old , or intel doesn't support full set of opengl extensions. An update on your drivers might fix the issue , might not.

You're unlucky indeed, we don't support Intel video cards. Some may work, some have an OpenGL version too old to be bothered with. I must admit this feature OcclusionQuery is probably not actively in use for all games. For your info, it's a feature to check if an object is completely hidden to avoid drawing it (it is used for emulation of the same feature in the true PSP).

By the way, we don't use DirectX for graphics but OpenGL.

I also found a problem with PCSP on my PC. When I tried running PCSP, I received this message "Sorry, OpenGL 'ARB_vertex_buffer_object' feature is mandatory". I checked on ATI's website and found that my Radeon 4500 HD supports openGL 3.2.

My Computer Spec is:
Core 2 Duo 2.1 Ghz
Radeon 4500 HD 512MB
4 GB Ram
Windows 7 64 Bit
PCSP 0.52

Thank you for your help

run this program GPU Caps Viewer 1.8.6 and check if GL_ARB_vertex_buffer_object is present in the list you get when you choose tab 'OpenGL' then click on button 'Show All' from frame 'OpenGL extensions database'.

Hi Hlide,

Thank you for the link. It seems that GL_ARB_vertex is not supported. My VGA card only supports two extensions? Is that mean that my pc wont be able to run PCSP?

Thank you and keep rocking

Looks like, what 8.56.1.15 is default drivers, included with Windows. You should get latest drivers from AMD and your problem should be solved. Wink

Hi BlackDaemon, I have downloaded the latest driver and installed it. But it seems that windows still uses the default driver. Is there any way to force it updates to the downloaded driver? Thank you for your help Smile
