JPCSP Launcher [v1.8.0.4]
Allright. I changed the jpcsp settings using the launcher and the settings are saved in the configuration window no prob.

at least now I know it's not the same bug I was getting. thanks.

few questions.

are you certain launcher is located in the right directory? because jpcsp will have the same settings whether you make changes in launcher or emu itself, if launcher is in the right place.

are you certain your windows version is 64 bit?

have you installed a 64 bit JRE(java runtime environment)? (preferably jre 6?)
Reply
Im positive that my windows version is 64 bit and i have installed jre 6 for the occasion. The directory of the launcher is at the moment placed in the same folder as the emulator (new folder\Java PSP\jpscp-windows-amd64\).

what build (revision) of jpcsp are you using and where did you get it?, all the latest builds should be obtained from the buildbot found here (other sites are unsupported)
http://buildbot.orphis.net/jpcsp/

I'm not sure I understand the problem correctly you have the Media Engine option enabled but still get a fake mpeg screen?
Could you post the error message you are receiving or a screenshot (remember to scroll to the top first, if its a console error))

also have you tried to run as administrator?
Reply
You know what - that actually helped i reinstalled everything and runned as administrator - it works now thanks! But i installed sonicstage and still no sound- i even allowed it as default player of every soundfile it proposed.

EDIT- button sounds work but speech/music/sfx doesnt - i tried importing the jpcsp whole into sonicstage without luck- hmm

how about sound forge and the monoatrac3+ tool? those go as a pair.

Hello,

I've managed to set up my Duodecim to run smoothly but the only problem I'm having now is some graphical issue. Is there an option fix to missing and stretched polygons on character models on the JPCSP/launcher or is this a system error?

to my experience, most graphical glitches on games i've tested are fixed by:

[X] Disable optimized Vertexinfo

Also, you might want to test "Enable decoding of indexed textures" whichever works better. On some games like 3rd birthday, there is a tremendous speed boost with no apparent graphical side effects. On Peace walker, there doesn't seem to be any speed boost but it still lowers down graphical quality.

Hyakki, i`m having problems with your launcher. It seems that when it is run on a USB or removable device it doesn't play the game i ask it to. This has only happened with the most recent version of jpcsp. I hope you can fix it. Thanks in advance.
