JPCSP Launcher [v1.8.0.4]
do they open when you restart the launcher? of is it when they are first added?
I know of a tiny bug that when they get added to the very bottom of the list they wont open until the launcher is restarted or the list refreshed (minimize to tray - then dbl click to restore will cause a refresh)

do you have any Unicode characters in the path or file names?
Reply
example i set directory path for ISO?CSO game on Jpcsp Launcher setting:
C:\PSP
D:\PSP
E:\PSP
then i click tab right on Jpcsp launcher. there will be a lot list of game PSP.
i tried it one by one, some can double click & some aren't.
later i'll tested it again.

a few other people have gotten that same error it seems to be a rare and hard to re-produce problem.
Jpcsp revision shouldn't have anything to do with it.

make sure all your vc runtimes are up to date,
Also any kind of debug software might trigger the exception 0x80000004

Im running on Win7 64 bits with JPCSP x86.

Ive the following Visual C version, am I missing something?

Also I suspected maybe my system had some packages/'components corrupted so I repaired all but I got no errors:

Code:
Checking System Update Readiness.
Binary Version 6.1.7601.21645
Package Version 11.0

Did you install the 32bit JRE?
Funny thing, I spend more time on the forum instead of on emulators Tongue

Yes I only have the 32bits version installed. GOnna try installing the 64bits and see the results.

EDIT: Yeah same error with JRE64bits + JPCSP64bits

I think it's isdebuggerpresent triggering it, maybe in the next version i'll remove the check, I just put it in as a habit since I use it in all my programs.
but really it might be a good thing since its saying something is monitoring / accessing the program maybe the user didn't know about

hm that's really odd, do they have the same name as another file in the list or have any kind of Unicode / special characters in the filename? (I tested with Japanese names and it worked ok)
also what does it do when you try and dbl click it, do you see the Jpcsp window popup?
Reply
