Really confusedd about the EDAT file - Chaoscode - 05-27-2015
I read everywhere you need the .rap file to convert to EDAT to extract to the external folder but no know tells you where to get this rap file or edat file. Where are they? On the ps3? on the disks? really confused. help

AFAIK, .rap file is created when running the game on your PS3. So - you run the game on your PS3, get the file, place it in the right place on your PC and you're good to go. But since I only know the rough process, someone might be able to give you a much better overview.
