Help please! Saving and Loading in JCPSP

Now I've only downloaded Dynasty Warriors but at the start it says I dont have a memory stick (rightfully so) and the save/load snapshot doesnt work, how can I save the game then load it back up once Im done playing. Everytime I try to save it in game it tells me I dont have a memory stick.
