are you sure that cellsynch could cause the game to run 8x slower?
This game uses a few CellSync functions iirc. But it is not 8x slower, I tested it now, and it seems to run at about the same speed as before really. I get about 4 fps where Dante had 7 a while ago:

just a small update. the font is now displayed correctly in conversations.

Yup. Still crashes when entering the first dungeon/battle though.

i dont know if its only me, but now i have 1 fps in game, mostly below 1fps.

About 2-3 here, down from about 5 (iirc), so yes, it's slower now. Still crashes too.
