Red Dead Redemption GOTY Edition [BLES01294]
#1
RPCS3 v0.0.2-5247-30ecd0b5 Alpha

Settings:
LLE: Automatically load required libraries
SPU: Precise
PPU: Precise
API: Vulkan
Resolution: 1280x720 16:9
Lower SPU thread priority: Enabled
Bind SPU threads to secondary cores: Enabled
Framelimit: Auto

Hardware:
Zotac GTX 970
i7 4790k @ 4,6 GHz
16 GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM
Windows 10 64 Bit

Issues:
The game loads fine and enters the menu but then freezes, although it renders textures properly. The freeze can happen instantly but sometimes the whole menu renders before the game hangs and if you are lucky you can press start and select singleplayer before it hangs. During the short period of being alive, the game throws a bunch of RSX errors and often freezes on one of those RSX errors. The PPU main_thread also runs in a deadlock.

Please do note that the build being used on this video is not a build that is available in the main repository, and you won't be able to do this using the regular builds. I just wanted to show what the game currently looks like.

Now that lle-gcm got merged finally, we can finally move this gem to ingame
usual settings:
vulkan, llvm, spu loob enabled, auto load libraries and prefered spu threads:3

notes from testing:
- the graphics are not good(as exepected)
- invisible characters issue seemed to be resolved especially when the characters are close
- flickering, sometimes it's minimal. other times it's all over the place.
- and of course the game is slow as f#ck Big Grin
getting like 4-6 fps in most cases.
- rare chances of random freezing especially when you leave the emulator inactive for few seconds.

I can't upload a log since it's 5mb & max allowed size here is 2mb
so I uploaded it to mediafire
