yes it is skylake. And I did just download the latest version

rpcs3-v0.0.3-2017-07-27-b8776b8f_win64.zip

It only had OpenGL and D3D12 though... no Vulcan for some reason.

Pick your GPU in the list and download and install the latest.

Okay. I updated my driver. Vulkan is now selectable. When I tried it, the game was able to play two cutscenes before freezing. OpenGl and D3D12 doesn't work though.

Why not use OpenGL? There's definitely progress since they managed to fix the super annoying after battle crash/hang. Only a few minor bugs remaining with OpenGL such as disappearing / corrupted textures and RPCS3 crash which happens with really low probability.

I tried it. The game went past the cutscenes and into the first part of the game but the graphics are kinda bad. I'll see what happens after a few more tests thanks. Attached is a screencap and the log.

^^ Don't use Vulkan with this game as it has severe issues with it now.
also skip cutscenes before they finish otherwise the game will freeze.

Some of those issues like the shadows on the car and the diagonal line of corruption are definite driver bugs. Other problems around maybe flickering graphics are on the RPCS3 side of things. Like the person below mentions OpenGL is supposed to be better in this game, but your Intel OpenGL drivers are so buggy it doesn't even work.

I see. Thanks then. I'm more than willing to wait to be able to get this game fully working. If anything has thought be regarding RPCS3 is that its constantly improving. Whenever I think that my crappy video card needs to be changed, miraculously a new build gets released that perfects all the games I wanted to play. (Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2, Diva F, Graces F...) Now even F 2nd is a step or two away from working well.
