So I'm trying to play this in v0.0.3 on default settings(minus the one setting that is required to be on to play Demon Souls) and right now I'm pulling about 10-12 fps on my i7. I've seen others with(seemingly) similar specs have little to no trouble, so what am I doing wrong here?

I also tried using the settings at the beginning of this thread, even messing with them a bit to see what I could do, and I still get the same FPS.

Really badass that this is working now though, can't wait to play it as much as I have its successors.

I have this game in "disc" folder. See pic in attachement, all files are placed in "PS3_GAME" folder.

Also here is a proof. that it works fine:

Hey!

First time posting, ran into an annoying graphical bug.

Permanent sun glare effect and flashing lens flare textures on screen, at a certain angle in each area.

Latest build, firmware etc. Tried all GPU config settings.

i5-4690k and GTX 1070 on 372.54 drivers

Attached screenshot and log file.

Hello all,

I have issues with frequent crash of the game. They happen randomly, sometimes i can play for 1 hour without issues, sometimes after 5 min the game crash. I attached the error hoping someone can tell me if i can change something on the configuration. I manage to run the game almost always at 30 fps, only when i break a lot of jars / box the fps drops down.

I use vulkan because with opengl i couldn't even pass the tutorial zone before it crash.

Thanks for the help.

I have attached my log file. Thanks for your help.

I started a new game and skipped the tutorial, this bug was not occured in the first area after the nexus, but I had another problem too, the screen has frozen and I read the following error report in the log: F {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread) [0x00a6651c]} MEM: Access violation writing location 0x1400bfb7

Maybe graphics driver bug. What graphics card do you have?

Ok i attached the screenshot.

Eveytime i boot it i get this message:
E LDR: Invalid disc directory for the disc game BLES00932
S LDR: (S)ELF: boot done.

I suggest showing file name extensions in explorer. The file PS3_DISC.SFB is PS3_DISC.SFB.txt in your case. Rename it to only PS3_DISC.SFB.

Thanks man. You saved my day Smile

Demon's Souls RPCS3 v0.0.3.5589
Framerate is close to 30, but ingame drops are extremally noticable.
There are also missing items (like shield) and some graphics bug (lens flare), but game seems to be pretty playable real soon.

4K resolution for best YT quality (game works at native PS3 resolution, I think It's 720p).

PC: i7-6700, 16GB RAM, GTX 1080
