Try turn off GE graphics/shaders, as the flickering is most likely GE and the fog is most likely shaders.

RAM 8GB DDR3 Nvidia GTX 560 Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Currently using Driver 310.90 WHQL

Silent Hill: Orgins is working much better now, but in-game i get random freezes.
CPU: Intel Core I7 3770 OC'ed 4.2GHz
