1. There's a movie at the start and it's replaced by black&white pixelated noise. Under some settings there's just black screen. Pressing start (Enter) likely solves the issue of having to wait.

enable media engine. options>configuration, media tab (32 bit only)

2. Sound effects work, but no movie, voice or music.

install sonicstage 4.3, then enable it in emulator. options>configuration, media tab (again 32 bit only)

4. Geo effect panels are opaque (solid color). The correct effect is pulsating transparency.

On side note, where are the savegames stored? I'd like to know so that I could download new version on Jpcsp and still keep playing where I left.
