Tried r2293 with the same settings. Still getting a black screen after hitting Game Start.

Intro video now plays but without sound.

I'm attaching my log file and leaving my specs.

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 @ 2.50 GHz (2 CPUs)
RAM: 2046 MB
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS (512 MB)
OS: Windows XP x86
