To get hi-res gfx (which I consider important in a 3D game like this), you have to use "Save GE screen to texture". It works fine at first, but when you pause the game, the background goes solid black. When I return to gameplay, everything is low-res and it stays this way. If i pause again, I see a blurred image of the scene now (instead of black). So I guess this FB effect is triggering this behavior of reverting to low-res? Any solutions for this? I really want to play hi-res, but I also need to make adjustments to equipment, etc.
