yes it is skylake. And I did just download the latest version

It only had OpenGL and D3D12 though... no Vulcan for some reason.

Pick your GPU in the list and download and install the latest.

Okay. I updated my driver. Vulkan is now selectable. When I tried it, the game was able to play two cutscenes before freezing. OpenGl and D3D12 doesn't work though.

Try the latest rpcs3 from today. https://rpcs3.net/download
Asus N55SF, i7-2670QM (~2,8 ghz under typical load), GeForce GT 555M (only OpenGL)
