No, as I said, MAIN folder, not a subfolder. The encrypted file will appear in temp though, so you have to move it after you rename it.

Also, Alex, do your ex defenses take an atrocious time to load? That's the only time when my game dips from full speed to like 5 FPS while the game is loading. I am thinking maybe it is my game that is faulty and I should redo the ISO file. Missing some sound effects, notably the introductions before combat (long or short), but that never really bothered me. I can't get past mission 2 either and haven't been able to for the past 20 revs. Seems to be a memory error I receive as well, because if I turn on ignore invalid memory the auto pause gives me the same error message as earlier but if not I just get stuck in an endless autopause loop.

erm, what ex defense anyway? i didnt notice about that one..and by the way.. from your quote:
"You download a rev later than 2200ish and check the encryption option and save encryption to temp. Then you rename the bin file generated in temp folder to the game version i.e. ULES01505 for the European version of 012 and move that file to the main folder of JPCSP and the emulator will now be able to read that file next time you load the game instead of having to encrypt again."

is this for the DLC??? oh well as the fact rev 2369 didnt have that function..
