Best Settings.
General Tab
Use Compiler
Use Shaders (optional. can cause some scenes to become Upside Down (battle sequences, sector 8), turn off for best compatibility)

Compatibility (everything else unchecked)
Only GE graphics (optional, small speedup)
Use Viewport
Enable Fake Mpeg Video (optional You can disable if using the Media Engine)
Use vertex cache
Disable reserved thread memory
Enable WaitThreadEndCB (optional Makes game feel smoother)
Use Media Engine (optional Enables video playback, audio is unsupported at this time)
(For maximum speed make sure that in the JPCSP Log console "Log Level" is set to off)

I got more FPS when uncheck Only GE Graphics option.
I use rev.1523
thanks.

with the latest build 1524 the game is smoother and not like the stuttering which occurred in 1515... also saw the CW tab
i can say around 10-15% speed increase probably

Brother can u add some colors to the builds page cuz it would look more professional and well... pleasing to the eye lol

EDIT:
two things i noticed with only GE off
1.) Speed does seem to increase although u cant tell by the FPS but the apparent movement and everything seemed to move faster although not smoother like 5%
The last fps at the same scene when Only Ge was on was around 7-10 but with it off it showed 24... strange though not much changes in real game speed as said before

2.) The game gets fullscreen... wonderful and maybe the upside down screens may get fixed... i will check and report

Maybe it would be better to focus on performance then adding audio support ( not looking forward to Zack's annoying voice acting)
Funny thing, I spend more time on the forum instead of on emulators Tongue

true so after some testing i think only ge and waitthreadenableCB should be disabled cause it increase speed well esp since u can get full screen with no speed issues

Now i have 1524, and with shaders turned off this is what i get

As you can see it's better than before but can still only see the bodies Undecided

hmm strange if you load up Jpcsp with only GE checked then startgame then switch over to only GE unchecked (and waitthreadendCB unchecked) , reset - reload iso , fps seem to increase(fps bug maybe?)
Inital start (Only GE, Endwaitthread)
[Image: 2ntbwuu.jpg]

(Options -> Unchecked Only Ge , EndWaitthread- reset -> reload iso -> play)

[i think the FPS are inaccurate maybe something failed to reset on reset, i still think Only GE and Endwaitthread provide a better experience.]

If you fully close jpcsp with and restart with Only GE unchecked fps will be horrible Tongue

also if you have the patch file in patches it fill force some settings even if you disable them in the options
ULUS10336.patch forces these options
# TITLE = CRISIS CORE:FINAL FANTASY VII
emu.disablesceAudio=0
emu.ignoreaudiothreads=0
emu.disableblockingaudio=0
emu.useViewport=1
emu.enableMpeg=1
emu.useVertexCache=1
emu.disablereservedthreadmemory=1

i didnt get slowdown with only GE and waitthread off infact with them on i got 6 fps less which is around 40% lol... sometimes u gotta get satisfied with what u have

by the way JPCSP i think the FPU and VFPU does make a difference... nice work
