finally the game work very well ... sometime slow but its ok.

But is there any problem or crashes in the game? cuz this topic in JPCSP - Half playable Games!!!

just tested in r2490 and seems good now, no more crashes at the leviathan movie.

Thanks for the heads up. Did you get a chance to test the text rendering in r2490? I've noticed a lot of commits over the past month dealing with improvements to rendering effects like alpha/stencil (Thanks GID15!).

Hi, I have the game working and displaying text, but I cannot locate the settings to change to English. I am getting crashes in what I believe is the "Options" menu on the Title Screen.

2) Stencil test alone = working text, but garbage display
3) No stencil test , but with enable saving GE = excellent display but no text

seems like i can either have text or a garbage display..

have you tried using color mask instead of stencil test? they both should make text show up but there is a tiny glitch with color mask where the battle menus are sometimes see through it might work better with ati.

actually, with the stencil and no saving GE, the display isnt too bad. just the occassional artifacting which typically only happens during intense visuals, like when you grab the first crystal. also, the battles really slow down during any sort of spell effects. i'm trying color mask next.

I can't seem to get past the Mist Dragon using r2493. When the mist gathers and the screen goes to break to the boss fight, its like the screen break DEMOLISHES my card and it goes at literally 1 frame per minute when I normally run the game at around 70fps. I can't get past this battle transition no matter what combination of options I select. Anyone else getting this?

Everything else runs just fine normally aside from the mentioned missing damage text on rare occasion and slowdown during massive graphical effects.

EDIT: Just tried it using r2490 and the problem still persists. To describe the behavior, it goes at about 1 frame every 3 seconds, with the screen flipping 180 degrees every frame, which is really really strange. It hangs up on the transition about partway through, repeating the same 2 frames infinitely.

try to temporarily disable stencil test or color mask option since these options are very hard on the video card (also try to run at window resolution and not full screen) ,
