Just play. If it freezes wait a while because the PGD files are being decrypted.

Go the the title screen and wait there until it shows the Demo battles if it stops after the 3rd demo battle and just stays on one screen playing music/showing sky or black screen then go to your tmp folder and delete this games folder. That was the same problem I had and it turned out that i had closed jpcsp while it was "frozen" but it was decrypting and it corrupted certain areas where they couldn't be decrypted

It worked! Now i was able to get to the end of stage 2. When it froze again. Well get the save from my PSP that is on Stage 13 and test it.
Also, i usually get full 60 fps, but when a menu shows up it drops to 5ish. Is it happening to anyone else?

It's happening to almost everyone, and it's probably because the menu might of more advanced coding or something seeing as its not nearly as graphical as the rest of the game.
