But I can't open it:

Also I tried to install that but it doesn't seem to work. Could anyone help me out?

Install 32bit java JRE and the problem should go away.

I have the same problem, ive re-installed java a number of times now and still i get this error message. What is the cause??

did you guys install this java
jre-6u26-windows-i586.

if it done maybe there's something wrong with your windows/OS. might reinstall again your OS.
