Intel core I7-2630QM (Quad Core) @ 2.00 GHz
4.00 GB RAM DDR2
NVIDIA Geforce GT 525M
JPCSP v0.6 r2263
Since I can get easily over 30fps, I wouldn't have thought that it's not a problem with my hardware. I'm using Media Engine and also used the recommended settings (experimented a little as well).
Also, there are a few problems with the sprites such as Zacks sword flying around inanimately and wierd rainbow coloured lines underneath the charecters feet. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I think I found out what the problem is when getting jittery movies / movement in game when using "Only Ge graphics" and Nvidia video cards.
1. Go into Nvidia Control Panel and turn Threaded optimization to Off (this option was just added/modified in recent drivers and that's about when the problem started so I tried turning that option off, and it seemed to fix it - for me at-least )
(You can also Enable the stencil test option to fix the jitter, (this can cause a slowdown though and it's currently not very compatible with save GE to Texture option.)).
let me know if it works. if it does you can also make a custom profile for Java.exe with nvidiaInspector and disable this setting so then it wont effect other games/apps.
the sword glitch is caused from using a low maximum method size, set to 500+, 100 and under problems will show up like wrong colors sword acting strange ..etc.
It didn't work for me. I turned Threaded Optimization off while GE Graphics was on and it didn't make a difference for me. Also, having the Maximum Method Size at 500 greatly decreases the fps and makes the game extremely laggy. Turning it to 100 does fix the flying sword problem and improve the games speed and but not enough to be playable.
Oh well, seems like I have to live with Zacks sword flying around like a moron . Either that or extreme laggyness.
As well as this, turning the stencil test on gives me no picture just blackness even though I still have sound.
Thanks for the advice anyway.
p.s It would be cool if there was a way to change the Maximum Method Size to a value between 50 to 100 to fix both the lag problem and the flying sword problem if that's at all possible?

I am using Jpcsp rev2263. I was playing Crisis Core ff7 on it and it was working perfectly fine. All the sound played. All of a sudden the music stopped playing and only the sfx would. I redownloaded jpcsp and still no music was playing at all. I have Sonic Stage, i am using mediengine and all of the recommended settings from emunewz.net. the sound that works is the voices and sfx. i also redownloded the iso in case it was damaged. same problem. help please

Hi, I'm new to this whole JPCSP thing and if I was wondering if I could get some help. I'm currently playing Persona 3 Portable but It's ridiculously slow when it comes to the 3d gameplay (usually 5-6 FPS), 2d animations are usually fine but those are usually 10-15 FPS. And I know it's not my computer since I have a HP 2.00ghz dual processor RAM. I've tried to download nearly every speed boost software there is but still no improvement. So I was thinking it was the JPCSP ever since I saw a video of this:Persona 3 Gameplay . I'm using the latest JPCSP so I'm really confused. Does anyone know what the problem could be, because I've seen videos of people using 60 FPS on lower versions then mine, also I can't seem to get the videos working. All I get is a blank screen but I can here the music, and I've looked for the ffmeg-natives arc but I can't seem to find it. I only see the ffmeg, is that it?

Since your new and it seems you don't have common since, please keep questions about a certain game in its own tread. The tread titles aren't there for show.
