The Awakened Fate Ultimatum [BLUS31500]

Note that this is the English version of the game. Displays the intro video, then segfaults in a save/load thread which you can't successfully resume from. So unlike the Japanese version this is not half playable.

Code:
G: E {PPU[459] Thread (SaveLoadUtility check gamedata load)[0x001e85f0]} Exception: Access violation reading location 0x0
G: E {PPU[459] Thread (SaveLoadUtility check gamedata load)[0x001e85f0]} Information: is_alive=1, m_last_syscall=0x21425307 (cellSaveDataListAutoLoad)

Full log attached.

Hiii everyone!!! I'm new here and this is my first thread, so if I happen to miss anything, please. tell me. I just wanted to report I'm testing this game right now and It's playable!!! Heart

Here are the technical details: I'm using ppu and spu interpreter fast and OpenGL renderer with default graphical options (Yuikan and Null doesn't work for me at all, and I don't have Windows 10, so let's forget about DX12. Note: It would be nice if we could use DX11 too, if you think it's possible).

Issues: No matter which option I use, sound doesn't work. And sadly, I'm unable to save the game (at least, manually, because I started playing yesterday afternoon and couldn't save: a black screen appeared and simply took me back to the save menu. But these afternoon, when I launched the game to make screencaps, the title screen highlighted the Load Game option and the game started right in pic 2) Other than that, the game seems to be working nicely. If I come across into any other issues while playing the game, I'll update this thread.ยด

Edit: I've put the screencaps as links, so they don't distort the thread

I can see them perfectly if I click them, even without logging in. so, please, try again.

And the game does save!!! The only problem so far is the sound.^^

Edit: I updated the log because I didn't realise the due to updating to the latest game something happened to my log and this game in particular wasn't there. Also I wanted to let you know that by setting the SPU Decoder to Recompiler, I do have sound effects but still no music

This game is pretty much perfect now.

Saving and loading works, graphics are flawless on OpenGL. It's mostly around 10-30 fps for me, so it would likely easily run at a steady 30 fps on a more modern computer. Opening video, sound effects, and even music now works with some LLE. Only issue here is that there is some crackle to the sound, even when running at 30 fps (with Xaudio. With OpenAL sound is pretty much garbage.).

So there you have it, a PS3 jrpg that's pretty much completely playable Smile

Nice i managed to run the game with this settings, the intro video plays perfectly fine for me:

As for in game: This game runs at 30FPS, not 60, except for videos like the intro.
That being said. Everything before the first dungeon i'm able to play at solid 30FPS with PPU on interpreter (FAST).

However on the first real dungeon it drops to about 20 FPS. It's still playable but not perfect. Switching PPU to LLVM achieves solid 30 FPS even on first dungeon! The only drawback is that you have to wait a bit longer for it to boot, but i rather wait 2 minutes once than play slow all the time. Big Grin

New video (Gameplay video, almost no sound crackle):

I have tried to run this game numerous times & have failed at all times so far. I have read the Beginner's Guide for RPCS3 & also the above mentioned posts. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Blush

One more thing which I forgot to mention is that I am unable to see the game in the game list. I have placed the game in the following directory \dev_hdd0\game\BLUS31500\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\BOOT.BIN

P.S. Thank you for the hint, ssshadow. I have attached the Log file in .zip format. I have also attached a screenshot of my PC specifications so you can have a better look.

P.S. I have tried attaching the log file many times but the site just wont allow me to. So, can someone please tell me their full settings in detail.

Put the .log file in a .zip and you can attach it. Or just upload it to Google Drive, MEGA, or even Pastebin. Can't help you without the full log file.

I have already attached the log file along with screenshot in my earlier post. Is it possible for someone to let me know what am I doing wrong or am I missing something silly? Any help is appreciated. Blush
