RPCS3 for Newcomers
#41
Yeah, speaking of problems I cannot seem to map my PS4 Controller. I'm on Ubuntu 15.10 with RPCS3 compiled just a couple of days ago. BTW, Hitman 2 seems to be fully playable with very high fps in-game but sadly I cannot fully test this game without proper controls. http://storage7.static.itmages.com/i/16/...cea057.png

Ah. Thanks. That was the problem.

Controller mapping is not supported. Check the PAD settings for keyboard controller controls.

Might be worth adding a note about game specific modules (they print into the log as "unknown" modules). Also might be worth adding a small note about getting games off PS3 discs.

I'm not sure on how that works. Sometimes the module exists in the OFW (I can LLE it) but RPCS3 doesn't recognize it. I think it's missing its reference, like libm2bcdec (present on 2.70+ OFW) for example.
http://i.imgur.com/kwps1SP.png for example. These modules are in the OFW but RPCS3 doesn't recognize them. If I LLE them the Unknown module output disappears.

Done, added a note after the LLE modules part.

A download link for the LLE modules would be so nice to those who don't have a ps3 to rip them by themselves.
Thank you very much by the way, nice guide for newcomers

As noted at the bottom:
Quote:Please keep in mind that piracy is not allowed and asking help with piracy, requesting pirated firmware files or games may result in a permanent suspension.

I have issued you a minor warning.
