This can now be moved to "Playable". Game is perfect now.

The caveat is you need OpenGL AND input = PS4. Without those two items, black screen.

How does it perform on latest master? On Vulkan/OpenGL?
Moving to Playable, log is required though

I cannot get the game to boot past a black screen. I am even using a PS3 controller. Any advice?

Use Interpreter (fast), Recompiler (ASMJIT), Autoload libraries, OpenGL (Vulkan will give you a gray screen, and D3D12 will crash RPCS3!), and change the Pad Handler to DualShock 4. My PS3 controller didn't respond, but at least the game did boot and run fine.

Thank you! It totally works and you can use two PS4 controllers for multiplayer! I cannot get version 1.03 to work properly, however. I can install the first DLC and unlock Knives but once I install the update package for 1.03 the game loads extremely slowly. It's playing at 60fps but hangs for a while every time something loads. Wallace unlocks but the game is basically unplayable at this point. Rapid errors also start loading saying E {PPU[100000e] Thread) [0x0140f3a8]} libnet:recvfrom(): error 0 unknown/illegal socket error: 10045 (in file C:\rpcs3\Emu\Cell\Modules\sys_net.cpp:207)

Any ideas if this is an easy fix?

I don't, but the emulator is still in development so give it some time. For now, it's recommended that you post a log. It's neat that you got two controllers to work though! RPCS3 only supports 1 controller afaik.

UPDATE: Here's the correct log file. Thanks, Etokapa. The game jumps from 3.1FW to 3.6. Should that effect anything? Before the update there's no issues that I can see. I'm assuming that RPCS3 doesn't officially support DLC but all of the other PKG files work great. I just know that thousands of people want this game on PC and now we're closer than ever.

I can confirm all this as well. Took a lot of troubleshooting for me to figure this out, so nice job! Smile

So you need 1.03 installed to see the Wallce DLC? That explains it....

This is definitely a fussy game but at least we figured out how to make it playable.

Yes. It's incredible. I'm glad someone else has messed around with the DLC. I tried installing the Wallace PKG without the update and he doesn't show up. I wonder what they added to the update to make it harder to emulate. I have this game installed on my console but by the time I tried to purchase the DLC it was all delisted. It needs to be preserved in it's entirety. I am so thankful to the creators of this emulator. I don't know if the emulator will save the second player's progress though. I will test it and get back to everyone.
