Greetings.

Emulator build:
rpcs3-v0.0.3-2017-07-21-9b39314a_win64

PC Specification:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Intel Core i5 7500 3,4 Ghz Quad-Core
MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X Plus 6GB GDDR5
8 GB DDR4 RAM
Gigabyte GA-B250M-D3H
Nothing overclocked, not tuned up in msi/gigabyte/intel/bios settings

I've got Demon's Souls - [BLUS30443] iso file.

Near all the time in tutorial section I got stable 30 fps with stutters from time to time.
Sadly, I've had random crashes so it forced me to disable most of options is gpu/cpu settings and set both PPU and SPU decoders to precise. With unplayable speed and graphical errors on that settings I've somehow managed to get through tutorial section and finally unlock autosave game feature Rolleyes

But, in Nexus and Boleterian palace I get 13-23 fps with frequent stutters and random crashes after few minutes of playing. The fps is not big deal, but stutters breaks the gameplay there where it is hard to move or perform any action normally.

Here is example log, I got red colored messages spam all the time, no matter if I get ok framerate in tutorial section, or unplayable action in Boletarian Palace
https://pastebin.com/Z5xCfj2L

Best performance for me emulator settings:

[/spoiler]

So my questions are:

1. Should I maybe get European iso of game?
I've saw just one topic about US version there without any info, so maybe it is worth to get EU one?

2. Maybe game peformance will just got better after Boletarian Palace section? I've heard that even on i7 or most powerfull Ryzens CPU there are "10fps drops in open locations"?

By the way, Thank You Very Much for ooutstanding work on emulator. After testing PS2 emulators few years ago I didn't even dreamed that someone will manage to create working PS3 emulator Heart

Sorry for english, not my native language.

Build 0.0.3-5412. There are no more freezes, before I had 100% freeze on first warp to another area, now I've done more that 5 consecutive warps all of which worked.
Also the audio is much more stable, though stutters in places where there is echo. Other than that 90% of the time it's 30FPS.
So a playable candidate indeed. Ran of i7 4770K + recompilers + Vulkan.

Probably missing files, or files in the wrong location. Screenshot what is next to the folder PS3_GAME, what is inside it, and what is inside the folder USRDIR.

Hello, I don't know how to describe it, but I have a weird vibrating graphical glitch in the game. It began a bit after touching the Archstone in the tutorial, but not immediately after it. It was like this:

I have attached my log file. Thanks for your help.

I started a new game and skipped the tutorial, this bug was not occured in the first area after the nexus, but I had another problem too, the screen has frozen and I read the following error report in the log: F {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread) [0x00a6651c]} MEM: Access violation writing location 0x1400bfb7

Maybe graphics driver bug. What graphics card do you have?

I suggest showing file name extensions in explorer. The file PS3_DISC.SFB is PS3_DISC.SFB.txt in your case. Rename it to only PS3_DISC.SFB.
